Here are a few comments made by guys and one woman in prison studying God’s Word in 2009. You will be encourage to see God at work in their minds, consciences, and hearts. Pray that God’s will be done in each life and that the reality of what they understand may be actuated in their lives by God’s grace. You can print this page and use them at a prayer time among God’s people.
I would like prayer for my marriage that the devil would release his hands upon us and that God would take control of us. Please life up my wife Rebecca, thanks William.
Pray for my wife Sun who is going through radiation at Good Samaritan in LA. Pray for my children. I just love and praise the Lord.
Pray for several of us here in Jesus’ name. We need the love of God the Almighty. We need to draw near to Him.
A marriage is supposed to be a blessing from God. A Union of two people becoming one and when you divorce this means the adversary infiltrated the marriage and broke the union between the two.
I begged God to take from me the spirit of addiction. He did better, He replaced it with new life. (When the instructor read this note, she cried over this response to a “What do you say question.”)
I was playing church when I was free. I would go to church and I even asked to teach a Sunday School class. But when church let out I went back to my sinful lustful ways. By God’s chastening He has shown me that my life is not mine to do as I please. He has brought me to prison to let me see the error of my ways. Its His word that says that I am to be fruitful. If the Lord is pleased with me and grants me the gift to teach I come under a greater judgment. God’s intervention in my life, bringing me here to Adelanto has in fact brought me closer to Him.
Thank you for sending me an envelope with the postage paid. Please do so again if you are able. Thank you!
The only gospel according to Paul is the fact that salvation is through grace alone. Any other teaching, referring to the idea that salvation can also come from obeying the law is horribly flawed. And actually is completely contradictory to the gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
This study in Galatians is awesome and probably the most important truth I could ever learn. Much like the Galatians who heard the words of salvation through grace and then ended up trying to earn their salvation was just like me.
I have been a victim of misconception. Being a new Christian I was carried away with sensations of being forgiven and baptism. Eventually I found through the Scripture and prayer that I am able to walk closer to the Lord.
When Jesus was here on earth, He was perfectly righteous. He never sinned in thought, word or deed. He is the only perfect 10 that ever lived. Everyone else has fallen short of perfection but not Jesus. He did not sin outwardly. He did not sin inwardly. He never had an evil thought, said an evil word or committed even one evil deed. He never lied, never cheated, he never sought an easy way out of a hard situation. Never bent the truth to make Himself look good, never cursed, never turned His back on His Father’s will. One more thing: He never gave up on me, amen.
I am in prison by my own doing. It says in Galatians 6:7 to not be deceived. God is not mocked. I was doing a mocking job and yet God has been good to me and I am seeking Him.
Que” Are you righteous enough to go to heaven? Ans: No, I am not but when God looks at me He doesn’t see me He sees Jesus.
God chose to put me in prison rather than the cemetery where my sinful acts should have put me.
Thank you for sending the Bible studies you offer. The Word is used to help men find Christ and lives are ultimately being changed. I know it is of the Lord that you do these things but you are lights in a dark world for us here in darkness.
I have had a drug problem since my early twenties and am now 46 years old and in jail again. I need the deliverance God offers
Thanks for reminding me that I need to I thank Jesus for giving His life for me, so I can live eternally, along with others who believe in You
