From Charles B. December 14, 2011

Seasons Greetings to all of you,

Peace, grace, and love from our Father God and t he Lord Jesus Christ. I hope you and your dear ones are all well, strong, stable and blessed beyond measure.

I write this letter to express my thanks to all of you and your ministry. I also want to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Times are tuff for so many these days. And I am quite certain many of you are faced with turmoil’s during these economic struggles. I do keep all of you and your ministry in my prayers. I do continue to pray that your ministry will be blessed with the resources to reach out to many. Your ministry has been a blessing in helping me grow in my faith. I do believe that God will bless and reward all of you richly.

With so much to be thankful for the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. The date is not nearly as important as the event, whenever it’s celebrated. The birth of our Savior Jesus as presented in the Bible, is God’s greatest gift to mankind. “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” God is love. HDM is a good example of sharing God’s love through your ministry. Your ministry touches lost souls, uplifts lives, encourages faith, and inspires so many as we live in these end times. May God bless all of you with His undying love. May all of you have a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Sincerely and Prayerfully in Christ. 12-19-11

From John A. 12/28/12

I am taking this opportunity to send you my best wishes for the holiday season. Merry Christmas and a happy New Year 2012. I pray that you are enjoying the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. I tried to call your office on 12/27/2011, and did not get an answer. May be that you were out of the office.

I left the federal facility, Sheridan on 8/19/2011 and was picked up by immigration the same day released. I was not in possession of my address book that is why it took me a long time to write you. I asked my sister if you contacted her about my where-abouts, she said no.

I have been in detention for over 4 months with immigration. My release date was Nov. 17-2011. The immigration’s law stated that “when a detainee is not released within 90 days of detention they should be released on supervision. My release has been delayed because immigration is not familiar with my country of origin.

I felt under the law. During my administrative review, the field director denied my 90 days release and requested a continuation of detention for another 90 days, which will be Feb. 15, 2012. I asked the Chaplain to search for your office’s address for me, which he was able to do for me.

The system is very different in this facility. I am doing well despite the days I feel down. I thank the Lord for all the advice you have given me. I know it does not rain all the time. We go through circumstances so the Lord may get each of us ready for future battles. Patience builds character. The Lord wants us to be light to those in darkness. When I go through trials, it is my testimony for the Lord is the strength of my life now. I may be able to encourage others in difficult times. I am looking forward to my release day here in Tacoma.

May the Lord continue to bless you and your loved ones. In Christ, John.

The Spirit’s Work in my life:  by John in a California prison 2010

I thank God for who He is. He let me accept His Son Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, a person is seated with Christ and has the Holy Spirit!

I see the Spirit at work in my life now and things are different than when I was in the flesh. I did so much wrong and I thought nothing about the fact that it was sin in God’s sight. That is how I was. I see a dramatic change that the Lord has brought over me and I am thankful. The Lord has cleaned up my mouth and other things that defiled me. Now I find I have an interest in helping people. When I sold drugs I knew in my heart that it was wrong and that I shouldn’t be engaged with this selling operation. I was destroying God’s children, and I knew this was the Holy Spirit dealing with my heart.

You know pastor ------ I am happier now than I was in the free world, thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ. The time came for me to accept Jesus Christ as my savior and I am glad that I did! I have a lot more that I could say about God’s goodness in my life but will leave it for later…
